Team Payroll inconsistency

Two pages of the online reports have inconsistent information regarding the team payroll:

Home Page lists Payroll: $102,515,100

Team Salary lists Team Salary: $98.3m


This league does not have coaches enabled, so there should not be extra salary in that area. What else can explain the difference between 'payroll' and 'salary': bonuses? If so, bonuses should be identified somewhere in the report for clarification.

It's Spring Training. When the game adds the entire 40 man roster, your payroll jumps to a larger number.

fredandres is correct. The figure shown includes minimum value contracts for all those without a major league contract. At the start of the regular season those figures will match. As this is how the game works, I'll close this thread.
