Player Pulling a Brett Favre? (retirement news)
Apologize for the creative thread title. I guess that's technically wrong because this guy stayed with the same team....
I couldn't help but notice that when, the season after I had an announcement that a star pitcher was retiring after the season, that he was still playing! The retirement announcement was on 9-6-1956 (just prior to the end of the regular season). Then he signs a contract extension a week later, and as you can see, he is still playing in 1957. I swear I didn't un-retire him. Scouts' honour on this one.

The game allows unretirements, so yes - that's a Favre! Marketing should work that into the feature list.
