Not all transactions logging in online league

With one of my online leagues I have noticed that some teams in the league do not seem to get all of their transactions logged. Specifically I have noticed that players being called up from AAA or demoted to AAA from the active roster seem to get logged for some teams and not for others.

Is there some setting somewhere that might be affecting this? As a commisioner who needs to watch teams' salary caps it is a lot easier if I can see all call-ups to know when teams may be adding payroll without calling someone up and as a manager I like to keep track of transactions in the league so it is a bit of a pain that some of them just don't show up.

Which team and players can you bring up as an example? I'm assuming you're talking BJHL here.

Yes, BJHL. The most obvious example is Decatur who ended up over the cap due to calling up guys from AAA but there is no log of those callups at all so the only way we realized it was by noticing that their salary was over at one point while browsing through.

What's odd is that nobody is being listed as released since that report and they are $15m under the salary cap at the moment. Releasing $15m of salary or trading it away should be in the transaction log. There is another field (can't remember off the top of my head) just under the playroll that is very close to $80m

Is this something that occurs repeatedly, or happened only once to you at a specific time? There is one point in the season that transactions appear to go by un-noticed just because of the season flip-over. If this is constantly occurring though, it sounds like something different.

No, this seems to be persistent for particular teams and the issue doesn't show up at all for other teams. I'm not really sure if there is some common theme between the teams that do have the issue.

I first noticed it in Spring Training and at the time I did an informal count of how many teams showed promotions and demotions on the first regular season sim (since everyone would have had to send people down to get to the 25-man roster limit) and I think I recall something like 12 of the 20 teams had some sorts of transactions and the other 8 didn't show anything which wouldn't really make sense.

If you want to sift through it look at All Transactions for reference. Thanks to the timing of our draft it is a bit of a mess but if you look at the logs for March 31 and April 5 that should cover all of the teams setting up their rosters for the beginning of the regular season.

I've also noticed that it seems to be a bit inconsistent on what it effects. It seems to effect promotions and demotions from the major league team and seemingly misses major league releases but it has picked up all signings and extensions and the minor and major league levels. It's very strange.

I think you have me stumped on this one. I've been trying to think about what might be occuring here. Just so I am clear, you are the one running the sim on the same computer that you can't see the transactions occuring upon?

The only thing I know of where transactions occur without ever being logged is when they are made through the player editor. (by manually changing what team someone is on, or manually turning them into a free agent). But to do that they would need commissioner access within the game.

So my next guess would be perhaps some AI initiated transaction is occuring and it is not logging those for some reason (likely a bug if that is the case). On the teams that you are not seeing any logged transactions for, if you go into the manager options for that human manager, do they have certain transactions set to AI controlled, or are they set to be on vacation or anything odd there?
