Sign and Release Issue?

I noticed this happening to a player right after I installed the patch. I didn't see anything like this in the 6 seasons before for my league, and so far I've only seen this for one guy so far:

Could be roster limit issue? Can you ftp the .dat files to the oopt server when you get a chance? What is your setup in historical? Do you just a reserve roster? Minors? The .dat files will fill us in, but curious on the front end. It's definitely looking for a place to put a guy, then finding out he can't stay there for some reason.

I think you were on to something. I have minor leagues set-up. I went in to take a look and there were about seven of them that were unaffiliated. I corrected the problem (I'm 99.9% sure it wasn't like that before) and went forward a couple of months and haven't seen the problem again.

I'd be happy to ftp the .dat files if it helps, but that seems to have corrected the problem.

I'm guessing that's it, but I'll make a note referencing this post as I always want to keep an eye on that particular issue. It's become a rarity after a great deal of hard work by Markus+.

Thanks again for spotting it. Hopefully, this is always part of the reason it occurs when it does. No need for the files, then. Closing 'er up.
