Delete Messages?

My dynasty game takes forever (10+ minutes) to load and the bulk of that time seems to be "loading messages". Is there a way to delete old messages periodically so that load time improves? I have looked in my various OOTP folders but don't see a messages folder. Thanks.

Here's an easy link to what can be deleted safely. I don't think this has changed in a while:

End of season sim time.

You can also search for other discussions on ways to minimize file size (for instance, save only certain box scores or turn off replays).
