Latest OOTP10.4.31 Beta Patch

So after some hesitation, my commissioner decided to upgrade to the latest 10.4.31 Beta patch. Some people in the league have no problem with it. I patched my game for it. Completely erased my league folder and even deleted it from the actual game. Downloaded the latest league file and try to open league in game. I get to the Manager Select screen, enter my password. The game hangs for a few secs while I stare at the Diamondbacks homescreen (which is also the Commish's team) then the game crashes. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

If the latest league file is from a previous patch, it won't work when you try to open it. If this is the case, he is going to have to release a new full league file using the current patch for you to download.

I can't think of anything else.

USBL Commish here, the League File he grabbed is the current patch, 10.4.31

we've had plenty of exports from other owners that came thru fine, so not sure why CKW's is a problem. Any other help would be appreciated. No other owner has had it crash when trying to enter a password...

Hmmm...then I guess something got corrupted on his CK's end, either the league file or his OOTP.

CK - I guess I would try uninstalling OOTP, downloading the full 10.4.31 version, installing that, then seeing if it works for you. If not, try deleting the league folder and reextracting it. Then open using the reinstalled program.

Let us know if that works.

well we found a solution, that may or may not be the correct way to go but it worked so what the hell:

I deleted CK as manager of his team and then added him back as a new manager, complete with new password. Ran a sim and uploaded the new file which he was able to download, install and then launch in-game. All seems to be well now
