team_report_leaderbox_frame template file missing
I get the following error when I first load my league in OOTP X 10.4.31:
TEMPLATES_ENGINE:: load_template_file: cannot open template file team_report_leaderbox_frame.tpl The leader board on the team pages is missing when I go to any team page. Screenshot included. |

Me three. The file appears to be in the templates folder, but the game isn't opening it. Only happens with 10.4.29 and 10.4.31

I get the same thing AND I get a similar message going to a player page from the team 'home page': TEMPLATES_ENGINE::load_template_file- cannot open template file player_report_data3_pitches_line.tpl
In both instances when you click OK you end up going to the page anyway. Rather annoying. |

I have also installed to a custom location. Maybe this is the issue?
Also, I had someone send me their template files and put them in my folder. Now I no longer get the error message, but the HTML is still without the team leaders on the team home page and player personality ratings on the player card.

Mine is installed in the same location the previous version was installed as well as all previous versions of the game. This is a new problem since the patch.

yes, it is a new problem for me since the patch as well. it was working fine before in the non-default install location. i haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling the full game. that might be a work-around...

I'm on a Mac and I'm getting the same problem. I've never seen it before the lastest patch. It'd be nice if we could get a response to this.

I think this is an issue where if you don't install to the default location then it can't find the template.....
Then when you click on OK it goes looking again and finds it. One workaround to try is,...... to move the template folder and create a "default" place to put it in. (maybe try copying the templates folder into the saved game folder, into the particular *.lg folder) Some of the templates (I believe) are new to this patch...this may be why you have never seen this problem before. (Have re-opened BZ3579 for this issue) Last edited by SMFXR01; 11-05-2009 at 12:39 PM. |

Yeah, that's a possibility. Still, it wasn't like this before the patch. So I think it's a bug.

I don't want the default location. I want to put the game folders in my Applications directory on my Mac. Like I said, it worked just fine before this patch.

OK guys, try this, it worked for me:
Go to your "home" folder, and inside is a documents folder containing a "Out of the Park Developments" folder. Locate the "template"folder and copy over the files into the template folder in the custom location. Upon restarting, POOF! Seems to work. |

There are no files in that folder in my Documents directory.

Are you looking in your 'home' folder, the one that maybe is named after you (your short name user name)? Not the Document folder found directly on the hard drive (along with System, Applications, etc)
