Major Issue: Can't Start Game

This is very strange.

It seems to have have happened out of the blue, but it has only started after the latest patch.

After opening the game once, I can play it normally. But if I close it, and then re-open it, it crashes on start-up.

I uninstalled, re-installed. I open it up, it works. I close it, open it up again and crashes.

Rinse and repeat. Can't get the game to open up a second time.

Please help.
