Crash when going to free agents

Just recently I've had the game crash on me when I try to view free agents or transactions. A windows message pops up and closes the game down. Please help.

To help anybody looking into this issue....
Please could you post
OOTP version
OS version
Any other information that may be relevant.
(e.g. updated to present version through full install or via patch files, can the issue be replicated....etc)

OOTP version is 10.4.31, currently running vista. Updates have been through patches. All league files have recently developed this problem, I thought it was just one file however I tried a different one today and same thing happened. The message I get from windows is that "ootp baseball 10 has stopped working"

This type of error normally happens when the file has been corrupted.
From the sounds of it this happens when it get to a particular event, with multiple leagues.
This may be due to the OOTP program itself being corrupted by a bad patch.
I would be very inclined to uninstall/install the full file (rather than just the patch). Also taking care to get rid of all instances of OOTP. (file are installed into the application data folder (in the documents and settings folder).
On Windows you shouldn't have to unlicence before uninstall.
Also your league data wouldn't be deleted with the uninstall....but they may be corrupted themselves anyway....
Then with the newly installed OOTP create a new league to test.
Hopefully this will work.

Same problem here. Vista. Uninstalled and re-installed and created a new league. Still crashes every time.

Did you re-install using the same files?
If you are creating different leagues and each league is crashing then the main program may be corrupt.
I would at this point uninstall and download a fresh installation file and try that.

I Did a fresh install with a newly downloaded file the first time. I then created a new league and same errors were there.
