I could really use some help here

I had to reformat my computer and asked to have my licensing resent to me....which the administrators did.

Now I am having trouble downloading the finished product onto my computer.

I can get ootp setup completed...but that is it.

The only difference for my computer now is Windows 7 O.S.

It goes through the installation process. I agree to the licensing, it downloads...and then nothing. I have the shortcut on my desktop, but when i try to open the game........nothing happens.

any ideas?

Is Windows 7 the same as Vista?
Do you have to right click on desktop icon and "run as administrator" first time?

(just noticed your edit line...if you have gone from XP to Win7 then you may not have known about the "run as administrator" issue...happens with a lot of programs run under vista)

Reason: Nevermind, i was able to change the game from being played on windows 7 to xp, and it worked out fine...weird. Sorry, i woudl delete the thread, but i do not know how to .
