Quitting game crashes windows

I downloaded the latest version - 10.4.31 - and every time I close the game it crashes windows. Starting up a saved game is a crap shoot as well - sometimes works and other times nothing. Have tried several leagues, structures, set ups, etc. Kind of frustrating to get such a great game that keeps me coming back for more only to find I have to start all over again. Had OOTP 9 and never had this problem. Any suggestions?

Any other information that may be relevant.
(e.g. updated to present version through full install or via patch files)

I'm running OOTP 10.4.31 - only version ever downloaded
Have not downloaded the latest patch
Uninstalled and re-installed and no change
Running Windows XP

Saving games is fine, its when I am quitting the game that it crashes - nearly everytime. Only time it does not happen every time is if I only play out a game or 2.

Awolben, I am sorry that no one was able to help you with this issue. If you have not already tried, I would recommend redownloading and reinstalling the game. It is possible that you may have a corrupt download or install. Due to the age of this thread, I am going to recommend that a moderator close this thread.
