Credits Screen wont go away

I am in the middle of a dynasty and all of a sudden i cant get the credits screen to go away. It popped up out of nowhere, and when i try to click game to get to save it will not let me. When i click "finish day" it will go to the manager home screen then quickly fade back to the credits screen.

Does anybody else know how to remedy this without losing progress? Has anyone else seen this problem?

Any other information that may be relevant.
(e.g. updated to present version through full install or via patch files)

I've seen this issue too and think it may be omnipresent in all versions.

But for me, the last time I saw (or tested) it was 10.4.31

My system info is below.
