Could not unpack files from archive?

Gang, the OTBA is having troubles.

When we attempt to update the league in-game, we get this:

"Error: could not unpack files from archive. The original database files have been restored. Make sure that there are no write-protectd or opened files in your league folder and try again."

I see that there was a thread about the same thing in the OOTP9 tech support forums, but there was never anything resembling resolution.

And, yes, we're all on the same (latest) version.

I theorize that if somebody in the league still has an old file predating the last sim, that the commish could simply re-sim. Anybody else come across this, or anybody from OOTPDev have any ideas/fixes?
