Unable to Load a Save

Hi,

Today I experienced a power outage while playing, and after the power returned and I restarted the game, the game crashes when I try to load my saved game. I then set up a new custom game and OOTPX crashes when I try to load the new game. I unlicensed and uninstalled, and then reinstalled and relicensed, but the game still crashes when I try to load either save. I had the latest patch before the problem started. I am using Windows 7 and was rolling along fine for the past month before today.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Well, I again unlicensed and uninstalled, and then reinstalled and relicensed, but this time I renamed my OOTP10 folder to xyz. I then ran a test quick start game which seemed to work, so I copied my old saved game into the new saved_games subfolder. I loaded that save and so far so good. Hopefully that will do it.
