ootp runtime error

No matter what file I go into online league or offline file the game freeze if i try to sim, go to lineups or pitching rotation, etc. I have waited, tried restarting my computer, I have unistalled the game and re-installing it, and system restore to where my computer was working before. I am kinda stumped. I know I sometimes get virtual memory low but it doesnt come up after my computer has been running for like 6 hours or so then it pops up saying that and I just shutdown and restart my computer. Then continue with what I was doing. I am on windows xp third edition (whatever its called) and if you can help that would be helpful...my league is waiting.

Now my game has no writing on the main screen of ootp, when you try to load a file, or even after a file is loaded. Everything is completely blank!

I am terribly sorry it's taken so long to officially reply to this thread.
