Expansion Draft Never Occurs

I'm currently running an online MLB based league and we started it in 1961. I had one of my cohorts that helps me run the league sim ahead to see how the game handled the 1962 expansion draft. He was able to sim all the way till the opening day of the 1962 season but no expansion draft was ever scheduled or took place. Our amateur draft is on March 15th, so it shouldn't have interfered.

Any ideas?

Expansion drafts are done manually as far as I know. Whne you add the new teams it will ask you if you want and expansion draft or not.

For amatuer draft that is an option when you created the leaue. If you selected to have one, I don't know why one wouldn't appear.

Yeah, but I have the league set to automatically expand. It adds the new teams. It just never has an expansion draft to fill them.

The guy who ran the test always gets the "can't find historical database" error, so maybe that's to blame. I'll try it with the "master" file this morning.

It apparently was the historic database issue. When I simmed ahead the expansion draft came up fine. Guess this is a non issue.
