Sending Game Files through email or sharing game files
I would like to play OOTPX with my brother-in-law on a shared file where we can make roster changes, sim a day, and then share the file back and forth.
Can anyone share with me how to do this? |

If you want both of you to control different teams, you pretty much want online league mode in the game. Generally speaking most online league files (just the base files, no extra fluff) are too large to email back and forth easily.
If you go with a fairly small league, few minor league levels in order to keep the league file size down, you theoretically can keep the entire thing under 10 MB in size, which is the limit for many email providers. There is no native function in the game to send the file via email, what you would likely want to do is through the Commissioner panel (only available in online mode) have the game create the league file for you. It will create a file called leaguename.tar.gz. You then manually try to see if it is small enough to email back and forth. There is obviously more involved in setting up an online league, the manual has details on what you need to do for that however. Traditionally online leagues are hosted on a web/ftp server, but that might be more than what you want to do for just the two of you. There is no "hotseat" type of setup where you just pass a simple file back and forth.
