odd occurance

I have a league with 128 teams, no minors, no feeders, no financials or trades, 10 round draft. I had just taken over a team and was simming from the end of the season to the preseason. On June 28th (FWIW, that was the day before the all star game) I got an error message saying 'Error - No starting pitcher found'. I pressed ok 3 or 4 times, then the message changed to 'NO STARTING PITCHER!', then the game crashed (I freaked out when I saw the game yell at me cause I'd just finished watching Eagle Eye :P). FWIW, the league maximum for the age of a player on a roster is 29, so could it be that, since there is no free agency and the league had concluded its season, that he was released and retired and that threw the ASG out of wack?

I tried turning off the all star game and the problem remained, so that must not be the case.

I am terribly sorry it's taken so long to officially reply to this thread. I'd still like to figure out if there's an outstanding issue here, so please let me know if you still need help with this!

I gave up on it long ago. I don't think I deleted the file, but my harddrive fried a month ago, so I don't think I have the file.
