Windows 7 will not start

Version: most recent downloaded from site 12/20/2009
PC/Mac: PC
What was I doing: Trying to get the program to run under Windows 7 64-bit
What happened: Nothing program does not open. When I try to run as administrator prompts me to accept change on system click yes nothing happens
Reproducable: I assume so. I did an upgrade from Vista 64 to Windows 7 64. Prior to upgrade OOTP ran. After upgrade it will not run. I tried deleating and reinstalling to resolve problem. I did not unlicense before deleating and reinstalling.

Tried running in compability mode and as administrator nothing works. Any other suggestions?

edit: im not sure if this is the proper way to solve this problem, but here ya go. i hope this helps...

Compatibility mode doesn't work unless you're an admin, though.

yeah, it'll work if you're the admin or its a single user computer... has this been able to work for other people? have there been more than just the few of us who have had problems?

Hi there. I'm very sorry it's taken us so long to post an "official" reply in this thread.

Still, I'd like to figure out if there is still an issue here, so we can make sure it gets taken care of for OOTP 11. Are you still experiencing this problem?

Great news, I'm really very sorry you had to figure it out on your own. We're making some improvements to our support model, so hopefully if you have issues in the future it won't take us so long to help out!
