Licensing Question

Ok, here's my dilema fellow OOTPers, hopefully someone can help.

I bought version X when it first came out, and I recently got a new lap top. I heard rumors that you can install the game twice without having to purchase it again, however, I long ago deleted my e-license email figuring I would not get a new computer before version XI came out.

Am I screwed and do I have to purchase the game again? Or, can I somehow obtain my license and cash in on the two for one deal??

There's no need to re-buy the game. You have a few options:

1) Presuming your old version was PC (I don't know if the other platforms do something similar), go to C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10 (or wherever it was you installed the game) and open the file receipt.txt. Your "Order ID" that you need is in there. Use it for the new installation and you should be good.

2) If you don't have that file anymore, contact your licensor and ask them to give you your order ID (and, if you want, request that they release your license from your previous install). To speed up the process, tell them the game and version of it you purchased as well as the name or email it was purchased under.

Afterwards, you may want to unlicense your old copy.
