Netbook configuration question
Can someone who has had success playing ootpX on a netbook computer take me thru the steps they used? My screen resolution size doesn't work with the game and I've tried everything.
My highest res is 1024 * 600 and the game says you need at least 1024 * 700. Am I out of luck here?? Thanks |

The search function does work well sometimes.
![]() Anyway, this thread offered at least 2 possible workarounds that I can see: 1) apparently there's a program called Astray which can "simulate" the minimum resolution of 1024 x 768. I don't know if this Astray is a program that will work on any laptop or if it's specific to only a netbook brand. 2) on some screens some info will get cut off, but Markus says you can try it in full screen mode. 3) this may be the same as #1, but apparently some netbooks will let you simulate the minimum resolution. Do read the thread I first linked as you might find out something important from it.

Since we haven't heard back from this gentleman in some time, I'm going to go ahead and close out this thread.
Thanks very much!
