Why am I prompted for a license number
I bought OOTP 10 about a year ago, played about 10 seasons. Now I am being prompted to either buy the game again or enter my license number. Where do I find my license number and what prompted this. I did change my email address recently, but nothing else changed.
Thanks in advance. |

Something similar happened to me a week or two back. It suddenly, 50 seasons into a historical sim, told me the demo had ended. WTF? There is no demo and it was licensed. When I quit, verified the license status, and went back in, all was well.

If you no longer have that then you'll have to contact elicense.

Very Disappointed - Mac License
I have a MAC. After playing the game for 7 months I am shut out of the game and being promted for my license number. After getting my license number I am now being asked for the authorisation code. After following the instructions the site does not give me the code. This service experience is incredibly poor. Is this typical service?

I'm sure you're frustrated and annoyed right now. But OOTP provides great service, and there appears to be a posting about this in the support area of the website.
Mac License Issue I hope this resolves your issue. If not, I'm sure someone from OOTP will respond by morning and get this resolved. Last edited by Charlie Hough; 01-12-2010 at 10:34 PM. |

I:
-moved the 3 off topic Mac vs PC posts to the thread in OT, -elaborated the title of this thread, and -moved it to tech support leaving a temp redirect I can't say whether this is typical service or not (I don't have a mac) and I haven't exactly counted up PC issues vs Mac issues, but it does seem to me that there are more issues with the mac version than the PC. All I can suggest, besides trying Charlie's link, is contact PISD, the mac licensor. Hopefully they can sort it out for you.

Since we haven't heard back from this gentleman in some time, I'm going to go ahead and close out this thread.
Thanks very much!
