If you're having trouble, there are a couple quick things to try. 1. Right click on the shortcut or start menu entry for OOTP10, select "properties" at the bottom. 2. Look under compatibility tab, select Run under compatibility mode with Windows XP service pack 3. 3. It may also help to check the Run as Administrator box at the bottom. More generally, keep in mind that using the compatibility mode will make a program use the DirectX version for what OS you choose; in this case it would revert to DX9 instead of DX10 that is Win7's default. There have been a number of threads about this and the two responses to this thread are about as good or better as any other so I'm just going to sticky this one in the hope that people see it before having to bother starting new threads on the topic.
