Mac Graphics Crash?

I just bought the game last weekend and it's worked great up until this point. I am running OSx Leopard and patch 10.4.31 in game.

Upon trying to open OOTP, no screen opens and eventually it becomes unresponsive and shuts down. When I try to open the game again, I get the following message:

OOTP found that the crashed_on_startup flag is set. Obviously the game crashed when you started it last time. OOTP will reset the graphics settings to default values. You can set them back later in the Game Preferences dialogue.

Despite this, I have never adjusted the default graphic settings.

The crash is unlikely to be the result of graphics problems. The game just has a routine it does whenever there has been a crash.

We have seen already that it is possible for game files to get corrupted or damaged for one reason or another. Sometimes it is possible to figure out which ones they are and to replace them. Sometimes not. In which case, the best solution is to reinstall the game. De-license the game you have running now, save your league folder some place (and any other custom files/folders you have), trash the game, then download a new copy and license it.

If you still have a problem after that, there is another set of possibilities we can look at.

Hi there. I'm very sorry it's taken us so long to post an "official" reply in this thread. Still, I'd like to figure out if there is still an issue here, so we can make sure it gets taken care of for OOTP 11. Are you still experiencing this problem?
