Crash when getting scouting report - Mac

Hi, all. I found this old issue in the forums that apparently the original poster never followed up on - so it was closed.

Mac crash when requesting scouting report of unaffiliated player

I am having the same issue, using the latest Mac patched version. I have two questions:

1) Why are there guys in the player pool ("Player Search") that I cannot sign or offer a contract to? Several are in their late 20s or 30s and are not affiliated with any team.

2) When I do click on their profile, the only option is to "request a scouting report" ... so when I do, the game crashes and quits to the Mac desktop without saving. Any idea why? Was this bug ever fixed?

Did you investigate the possibility of FTPing your game, as recommended in the other thread, so the guys could take a look at it. It probably means something is corrupted in one of the dat files, but that's just speculation on my part.

Hi there. I'm very sorry it's taken us so long to post an "official" reply in this thread. Still, I'd like to figure out if there is still an issue here, so we can make sure it gets taken care of for OOTP 11. Are you still experiencing this problem?
