All Star Game

I'm playing a fantasy league with real players... the best players of all time... in my opinion.

I have 16 teams in two leagues. Each league has two divisions. After a League Champion is determined, I have a "World Series" to determine all overall winner.

About "5 years" into the game, I expanded from 12 teams to 16. I had two leagues with 6 teams each. Now, each league has two divisions, each one with 4 teams.

Since the expansion, I can't the All Star Game to be played during the All-Star Break in July. I have an All Star Break scheduled, but the All Star Game always gets scheduled on the day BEFORE the All Star Break after a full days' worth of regular league games,

What did I do wrong? Is this a "bug" or something I did wrong when I expanded my game?

I'm wondering if this has something to do with the divisional alignments as I believe there is a schedule file for 2x2x4. I'm going to ask Le Grande Orange to have a look at this thread as he's good at these schedule things.

THAT is exactly the issue. You can manually reschedule the ALL-STAR game, but you have to do it before opening day AND the all-star game has to be edited via a text file. Unlike all the other games that can be schedule, cancel and rescheduled on the fly during the season.

As snnort eluded, a workaround for the ASG problem is to manually reschedule the game during the preseason (usually starting in February). This is done through the Game Setup area. Uncheck the Automatically Schedule ASG option and change the date to what you want it to be. Doesn't help your current season, but can help in the future (if you remember to do it).

Tony is probably right in that the new alignment caused the game to use a schedule that may have the ASG scheduled wrong.
