Does the game upload images/logos with the proper case usage?

As listed in this old thread there was a problem in v9 online leagues. Player-created team logos were not being displayed properly in some league website pages because the game was not consistent as to whether or not it capitalized the images it generated prior to uploading. Has this been fixed in OOTP v10, or is the problem still present? This is potentially a deal-breaker for me on 10 since I would rather not have to spend the excess time needed to manually edit a couple hundred filenames.

I know of the OOTP9 version issue as I ran into it at times myself. It never ate up a ton of my time to make a few changes, but it sounds like I did not have as many custom graphics as you did either. I think I tested and did not encounter any problems earlier on in OOTP10, but I'll try it again when I get some time later tonight and see what happens and let you know.

You can write a script for this, you don't have to do it manually.

I did some various testing with this to make sure I wasn't saying the wrong thing. So what I have found is:

If you set a team to a specific logo within the game, it reads in the .png file and changes the case of the file at that point to all lowercase. If you import a league from ootp9 that has mixed case, it keeps the case sensitive to what it was previously. In both cases, the images appear to transfer with the league file correctly. I created the league file and then deleted my entire league folder before re-extracting it out and the files were still correct.

If you change the file case after loading it into the game, then that appears to break things, but that probably is expected I would think.

If anyone else sees it doing anything otherwise, it should probably be posted in the Technical Support forum so the problem can be logged to be fixed. Right now though it seems to be working right in the tests I did.

I am starting an online league and ran into the same problem. The fix is easy, and quick. Go to this site and download the program. It's freeware, and self-explanatory.

Let me know if you need any help.
