Question Ping Commishes - Tech Question

In one of my online leagues Import Team via FTP is available. In another it is not. Can anyone tell me how the Commish would set up Import Team via FTP to work.

There are now settings for where to put the league file, where to upload and where to download so I think the commish just needs to set up the settings for the ftp downloads for the league.

Looking at the settings, I think the Team File Import Options need to be set.

If you can't get it done, you could download it yourself. It'd probably be in the same folder that you can download the update file from (try "/exports/") and it'd be called "team_[insertyourteam#].ootp".

For Import team via ftp to work, you have to have commish level access and then access to the section of the online configuration to set up the ftp server information where you would download the team exports from.

Since the Import Team via FTP configuration is not included in the league file, it has to be set up locally on your computer itself.

So then to set it up locally on your computer, you just go in with commish privledges into the Online configuration section where you can put in info on where the league file upload/league file download/team export upload/team export download/email settings are.

You just fill in the team export download info to be similar to what you have for team export upload. You need to put what ftp server, username, password and relative path that is being used for it. Then you should be all set.

Edit: All set on that system only.
