Players being Dumped to FA During Inaugural Draft

Terribly sorry if this has been posted -- I haven't had time to scan the forum.

We are in the midst of our online league draft. (30 teams, MLB format, fictional teams/players) We stopped after 9 rounds to continue at a later date.

Today, I imported team files via the server (I am commish) and when doing that the game dumps nearly half of the drafted players into the FA pool.

They are removed from the team which drafted them and in the player history is even says "released by such and such team 2009"

Hopefully this is just something that is going on due to importing in the middle of a draft. But it means I cannot import team files to get draft lists.

I'm going to move this to the Commissioners Corner in the Online League forum as I do recall something about drafts and releases when simming slowly through the draft.

Consider this sequence of events:

Commissioner uploads a league file
Owner downloads league file, makes changes to team
Commissioner conducts league business, and makes draft picks
Owner exports team file
Commissioner imports team file

At point 5, when the Commissioner imports the team file, the state of the team within the Commissioner's game is going to revert to point 2, and reverse all changes made by Commissioner at point 3. All draft picks made by team at point 3 will be released into the FA pool.
