I need a tutorial for OOTP X FTP setup

I am having a terrible time converting to OOTP X from 9 when it comes to getting all the FTP stuff to work. Is there a step by step tutorial that shows what to put in each box and how and what to set file permissions to? If not is there someone that could write one really fast and post it here for me? I really could use some help with this, thanks

Have you read up on the page in the manual on ftp setup? If yes, but you're stuck on something, what exactly are you stuck on?

The two most important are probably: League File Download Options and Team File Export Options as they make things easy on your members.

If as commish you'd prefer to upload files outside of the game then you can skip: League File Upload Options and Report Upload Options.

You could set up your ftp file structure however you like, but the way we do it is create a special folder that only holds the stuff OOTP uploads, let's call this folder "X", create an ftp account that goes directly to it (this is key), and then inside that folder we create 2 more folders: "exports" and "reports". So our source/target path for each section in the settings ends up just being "/exports" or "/reports" (exclude the quote marks) depending on what the section is for. And for the "...URL" fields we just use the full web address of the file or folder. Other than that it's just simple host/username/password stuff and making sure the checkboxes are checked.
