Help with starting a league

I have a question. I have a couple buddies who live out of town and we want to do an online league in a new 2009 starting game with just us three as owners of a team. How do I go about starting this? I can't even seem to figure it out from the main screen?! Help! Thanks!

A good place to start would be reading the manual - OOTP Baseball Manual - OOTP Online Leagues

Then anything you're still unsure of, ask specific questions here. There's just too much to cover for a generic question like "How do I start an online league"?
