HOw do you guys set up Getch?
I downloaded and put Getch OOTPX utilities on my web server in my cgi-bin folder and tried to run it with my solo league to try them out. Even after setting the permissions (chmod) and tinkering with my server via SSH to assure my linkage and execution permissions for the cgi-bin folder were right. I still got errors trying to run the main perl file. Folder paths were also correct according to the readme doc. For any commish using Getch, anyone have any known gotcha's or ideas?
FYI - I'm using a shared server and a sub-domain for the league if that makes any difference.

The folder paths on the main Admin page are probably what is screwing you up (to me at least they're probably the trickiest part depending on how complicated your dir structure is). If you PM me how your directories are set up on your ftp and a screenshot of what you have on that page, maybe I can help you figure out what the problem is.
EDIT: There might also be something in one of Getch's many threads (see his sig for links) that could tip you off to the problem.

Thanks kq. I actually had to dig back and remember that you need to specify your perl path to start the file. Once I fixed that, things started up ok.
