Inter-League Playoffs

I would like to set up a world with 4-8 different leagues. Each league would have its own playoffs and the champions of those leagues would play each other in an inter-league playoff. Is there any way to do this?

AFAIK, no, not even with Tony M's utility. You can't because of how Markus has set up the database. Hopefully it'll be possible soon (with OOTP11 if we're lucky). Countless people would love to see it, I'm sure.

Actually I have been able to manually schedule "postseason games" in the playoff editor between teams in different leagues. They don't display anywhere but on the teams playoff schedule, and I haven't gotten so far as to play them yet.
