New Online League: What to Send

I have read about starting a new leauge, and know that I have to send the GM's a file before they can use the games automatic download feature. But I still don't know what I have to include for them to do the first download.... can anyone help? What files I have to send for the first time start up....

Thanks,

Eric

If you're sending out a file for the very first time you might as well send them your full league folder.

After that, however, if they need to re-install or anything you just have to send your dat files and then they can download and install the update files either inside or outside the game.

So you are saying to send everything in the "C:\Users\******\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10\saved_games\*******.lg\" folder??? Just want to make sure before I try....

Thanks,

Eric

Yup. There's usually plenty of files you don't need to send, but since this is a brand new league you might as well send everything since those superfluous files won't exist yet.

Just compress them somehow (e.g. zipping) before you do upload so it's not too big.

Just zip the folder. That way you don't have to worry about getting all the files inside. Just right click the folder and zip from the popup menu.

They can then extract to 'saved_games' folder instead of having to manually create the lg folder if you do it the other way.
