Markus, is the license going to be cross-platform via PISD? I remember that was supposedly the plan when the Linux version of OOTP9 was released...

So, V.10 comes with MLB rosters? I won't need to download them this time?

I'm impressed, I didn't expect to see the pitching model revamp in this version. Hopefully it works out well and pitches affect ratings and effectiveness as they do in real life.

Wow. If all these features work as advertised, OOTP will be about as close to a perfect text-sim as one could get.
The next frontier will be graphics, I assume. In any case, looking forward to spring. |

Whoa, I've been playing since OOTP 2, and you continue to impress me.
The pitching system stuff sounds especially impressive. Individual pitch ratings, and velocity and GB% having an effect sounds like a dream come true. Now just give batters ratings on their ability to hit certain types of pitches and all will be right with the world. All of the other features sound great, too. Can't wait to find out what else is new with this version. |

my order is in
I really like some of the enhancements, minor league DL, inaugural draft budgets, arbitration and free agent compensation, pitching, etc., etc. Thanks Markus and everyone else involved in the development of OOTP X.
