better coach hirings?
The coaches hired to the big leagues coming up from the minors are always the least qualified, at least in ootp9. Some came from the A others from the AA and even if they had terrible records and never winning a championship.
Has any of this been improved for ootp10? I hope so!

I'm really hoping the staff hiring is changed. It always irritated me that you couldn't reassign staff between minor league levels, only promote to the majors. And then once you do that they are likely to refuse re-assignment, and the you have to release them. It would be nice if staff contracts weren't guaranteed and could be negotiated on a year to year basis. I'd also like to see other teams ask permission to make an offer to staff (with consequences if you say know).

Along those lines, I also would like to see promotions within my minor league system, and I really wish that if a coach says he will take a 3 year deal for $200,000, then he will actually take that deal or something close to it. Or maybe when I go to Check Free Agent Personel, in the default screen, there could be a column headed "Minimum League Level"; anything that will help improve the hiring process.
