Cooperstown Roster
Hi everyone
![]() I was wondering what is the best/easiest place to upload a 11MB roster file? I have a set from OOTP8 and will be recreating it for 10, and would like to upload for the community. This roster set has been evolving for many years (titled "Cooperstown Rosters") on many PC and console titles since FPS Basbeall back in the day, and now is a 40 man with all current teams featuring the best players from each franchises history, 25 position and 15 pitchers. Thanks in advance, Jason Last edited by Cooperstown; 04-19-2009 at 06:37 PM. |

Padresfan hosts an OOTP mod site that you should check out. Padresfan Mods All you have to do is click the submit mod button and he'll most likely host it.

Use a site such as Mediafire. You can create a free account. No waiting like some sites.

Good call on the MediaFire, I could figure that one out
Now Padres can get the files lol ![]() So here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/nk1mnyowwyt/Cooperstown 2009.lg.rar The file is from OOTP 8. Not sure the setup is as it will be in the new release as I am going to reimport all the players off the new database. Any suggestions please post, players or league setup. This file just has the default lineups for the most part. Easy to change with all 40 players available. The players are imported off the best year regardless of team, I looked at single season and career with franchise to make choices, all stats based off prime years for import, and then considered balance of teams. Example: Jose Canseco is on the Rays, as A's are a monster. Also being from Washington the bias for the Mariners has prevailed, Randy, ARod, Vizquel, Tino and Griffey all there ![]() Hehe hope ya guys enjoy it I will make sure the new version is complete with rotations and lineups that relect how it should be, including any suggestions that I have overlooked. Brooks will be manning the hot corner in Baltimore, and surely many others. I will set each manually for each team balancing the defense, especially in the infield ![]() Thanks again ![]() Jason "Cooperstown" Wick Last edited by Cooperstown; 04-19-2009 at 04:38 AM. |

I downloaded it and imported it into OOTP9 and it worked fine. I haven't had much time to play around with it, however.

How about it in a Template or zipfile?
How many Minor leagues are in it? CC Sabathia on the Yankees? Yes because he's an All-Star and maybe expand to include all the teams great Pitchers and Players up intill this year.

Well,
The roster does include players through the 2008 season, notable additions for last year were Stephen Drew, Evan Longoria, BJ Upton, Matt Garza, James Shields, MVP Dustin Pedroia, Bobby Jenks and Cole Hamels. I cant say that CC made the list even for the Indians lol , although you could make a case for the Brewers based on his partial year I suppose. I may just go back an look at him for both teams and see what it looks like!I have uploaded the Excel file of the rosters so you can take a look without uploading to the game. http://www.mediafire.com/file/ta32tz...ooperstown.xls I have only played the file in OOTP 8 so not sure about the Pitchers Stuff ratings in other versions.....I have had good results in OOTP 8 though. The point will be mute here soon as I am re-importing for OOTPX to account for the new pitches and ratings from the new database. I will also take all the feedback from now until the release to make changes to the rosters ![]() I guess CC is the first test case , but he aint going to the Yankees...sorry . Like they need the help for heaven's sake (see the Excel roster if ya dont believe meh!)There are no Minor Leagues in this file it is set for single season play. If anyone has league setup suggestions I would love to hear them, I am a little slow in the whole League Setup function. Thanks again, Coop Last edited by Cooperstown; 04-19-2009 at 04:54 AM. |

Yikes,
That was an error FGS! LOL it has been fixed and yes he is the number 1 starter for the Cards. Also reviewing CC for the Indians, his work from last year did make a difference in his rating, so he replaces Jim Bagby and will be in the rotation for the Indians. Thanks for the help ![]() Coop |

AROD on the Yankees just because he's a All-Star and also to Wang,Mussina,Damon,Pettite and so on. Andy S. and Pat Burrell on the Rays. Ricky Nolesco,Maybin and Anibel Sanchez on the Marlins.
Why MLB Roster at 40 not 25 and the rest of the people in the minors?

After another review of the Yankees, I have added Andy Pettitte, he is in the top 10 in W/IP and has been in the post season for Yankee championships. His rating based on career best was enough to kick Herb Pennock, sorry Herb.
Damon starts for KC, he would never take the field in NY with Mantle, Maris, Dimaggio and of course Ruth. Mussina is starting for the Orioles, as he did most of his work for them. Lets keep Johnny and Mikey happy ![]() Thanks again everyone, Coop Last edited by Cooperstown; 04-19-2009 at 10:27 PM. |
