Running OOTP 10 on a 1024x600 netbook

I recently picked up an Acer netbook which is pretty nice. It shouldn't have any problems running OOTP 10 except that I see from the latest newsletter that the screen res requirement is 1024x768. Has anyone run it on a 1024x600 screen and seen the results, or will it not run at all?

FYI, I've been pretty successful running a number of games on the Acer. Even though it's only got an 8.9" screen, it's very bright and sharp. I haven't installed any older OOTPs on it yet, since I'm waiting breathlessly for version 10

My apology for not doing a search beforehand, a cardinal sin if there was one

. The good news is that I tried Astray and it works fine on my Acer Aspire One 8.9" screen to go from 1024x600 to 1024x768

i'll continue my plea here for a netbook resolution mode...yes, astray works, but a 1024 x 600 window would be even better!
