Well, 'in theory' if you were to use these %'s and bet only when the odds offered on the team to win at that moment were better than the suggested % chance of them winning from this situation, then in the long term you should make profit. Bear in mind I am talking about bettnig on the game outcome at prices offered whilst the game is being played and not pre game. Also you can offset your bet if using a betting exchange to ensure profit if the price moves in your favour.

Gambling on baseball is bad. Just ask Pete Rose.

If you're playing pre-1947 American baseball, then the All-American Mod (a namefiles/ethnicites/nation/cities file pack) is for you.

Banning Pete Rose is bad, just ask Bart Giamatti

Bart Giamatti was an overweight heavy smoker who had Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. The Washington Times attributed his cause of death to being "struck down unexpectedly by a combination of pressure, overwork, overweight and heavy smoking."

No, his point was that it makes it unlikely that banning Pete Rose was bad for him.

A more likely PROXIMATE cause of death was that he was feuding (for years) with George Steinbrenner, and he had a 'heated' phone discussion with George just three hours before he was found dead. (To add insult to injury, George then parlayed his status as 'the last person to talk to Bart' into presenting himself to the media as baseball's unofficial representative at the funeral and surrounding events.)

It seems like he was just a heart attack waiting to happen anyway. Likely anything could have set him off.
