Importing Other Version

I know.. Ill get redirected liekly but hopefully get an ansxwer none the less.

I own OOTP 8, have prepurchsed 10 (Okay... 'X')

Now.. I woudl like to import an 8 league I cant live without.

I know Ill have to DL demo of 9, import 8 into 9 , then import the new 9 verison into X, I have no isses with that.

HOWEVER...will I have to tediously reallocate the team colours all over again and link custom jerseys ect ect.. or will that data be good. (Do I have to simply move 'jerseys' and 'caps' folder from 8 to X jersey file for that league and the realted custom data has been converted in import?)

I was looking to expend my league and that means 4 teams with 5 levels each, 20 toal teams to customize.. if I have to redo it all for OOTP X upon import, Id just assume not do any of these graphical cusomizations with 8, just play it as is and do all that once its in X.

Hope this made sence, I have had alot of coffee today...

In past versions, details like these have transferred automatically.

I doubt very much you'll have to import into 9 first, more than likely it will be direct into X. You shouldn't have any problems with jerseys and whatnot. If they don't import (they should) just copy the folders over to X. The file/folder structure should still be the same.

Thanks to both fo you for the replies! I will continue my work on my OOTP 8 league till X sees the light of day!
