I'm not sure when I started getting this problem since I hadn't played in awhile, but whenever I extend a player I get this as the subject line in my email.



I'm all up to date on my patches and everything. It's kind of a minor gripe, but I figured I'd ask if there was any way to get rid of it anyhow.

Ok tonight I had a looper hit to left and the play by play said it was a tough play for Westbrook the pitcher

Interesting note: If I didn't allow him to play the last five games of the season, he would've been my leagues first and only .400 hitter.

This problem is hard to fix without having the specific PbP. I made one slight change that may be related to this PbP . . . or may not.

Ted Williams was told by his manager Joe Cronin that he could sit out the last two games of the season in 1941.
He was hitting .401 going into them. He played and went something like 6 for 8 and finished with a .406 BA. That's the way to do it.

You did the right thing by playing him.

It got garbled in the programming conversion, I guess.

Markus will have to fix it. The Text Database showed no error.
When it was converted from the Text Database it apparently was programmed incorrectly.
The game may not be able to handle a triple crown winner that gets traded in the same season.

This pbp is confusing. As written, it is Coke who has a season strikeout total of 40. But in fact it is Youkilis who has struck out 40 times.

"installation" was used just for the sake of variety. "induction" had already been used in the second sentence.
But since the HOF category rarely comes up, variety really isn't necessary.

I will fix it by just removing "installation".

The hard code is causing the confusion. Markus will have to fix it. He shouldn't use personal pronouns in the sentence. He should always use the player's name to avoid any confusion between the pitcher and the batter.

Guillen will step up next so far he's 1 for 1 today with 1 rbi from the stretch the pitch swung on line drive down the right field foul line Guillen will have to hurry and the ball rattles around in the corner. Guillen rounds first and digs for second Thomas takes 3rd Thomas is on his way home the long throw toward the plate Guillen is going for 3rd Hullet cuts it off and fires to third Guillen with a head first dive Pena puts down the tag and he is safe. Guillen takes third on the play Guillen has a DOUBLE Carlos Guillen delivers a run scoring double.


Ok 2 things wrong here, 1st the catcher Pena should not be covering 3rd when a guy was coming home. 2nd it should be Triple not Double
