Sorry, another non-typo here, but something I'd like to see fixed nonetheless...

When awards are given out at the end of the season, I wish the news stories would appear in the traditional order. That is to say, the Golden Gloves should be announced first, followed by the Rookies and Managers, and finally the Cy Youngs and MVPs.

Currently, MOTY isn't even announced until the very end of the season. You even have to sim an extra day for them to show up in the league news.

Cosmetic, I know, but please consider changing. Thx!

I figure we've done a lot of tweaking and typo fixing and what have you here, so instead of letting it die since yall can't tell what may have already been fixed I'll get a new file out there so you can tell us how badly it still sucks.

I don't know if this thing works, first time using this site. If not, I'll find another (maybe even find the one I used to use that I know works). Let me know.

Last... if you see a "\n" in the pbp it's been fixed. I just fixed about 20 of them, there are no more... but I'm at work and don't have access to make a new file, so you get the one I made this morning.

Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire

Also, this hasn't been tested yet so make a backup in case it throws errors. There's things we can do, accidnetally, in this file that will crash OOTP. It won't kill anything, but may throw errors. If it does just replace the old file and let me know so I can track it down.

Good suggestion. One Markus should be able to do easily.

I'll send him a request to do it your way.

You could send him an email, too.

Don't know if that's a bug - the run didn't score when it should have - or a PBP error, where it said the runner came home when he really didn't.
I have seen this at least twice, when the team completes a double play, but the runner doesn't score from third. Doesn't seem realistic to me.

Here's something that I came across. Also, it probably should say that 'Felix Durango went on A hitting streak'. And one more thing, notice at the end of the first paragraph..it should probably say 'prevailed 9-7 over THE Hot Peppers'

Thanks for posting the errors, falkonisback.

All three errors have been fixed.

The string token was correct in the Text Database. Apparently someone had already fixed the [%string#1) error.

I can see that the token is incorrect in your news story. It had a parenthesis on the right side instead of a bracket.

[%string#1)... should have been [%string#1].

I fixed the two typos and will report the failure of the [%string#1] to convert to what the player did in the game at each at-bat.

The token was correct in the Text Database.

I'll BZ it.
It was correct because I caught it a while back.

Hopefully people download the new xml I posted up there... we're getting into the area where problems will start being reported we've already fixed.

I didn't BZ it when I realized that someone had fixed the string token.

Thanks for fixing it, tysok.

Nah... haven't you heard of Foulke's nasty Foulke ball? It's unhittable!

Should have been a pitch of course, fixed it.

You know that if the guy had a forkball the announcers would call it that lol.

It looks like a typo, but I couldn't find it in the text database.

Maybe pstrickert or tysok can locate it.

I thought he actually threw a Foulke ball similiar to Randy Johnson's Mr. Snappy. I couldn't find anything on it so I decided to report it. Good thing it got caught before more batters were thrown that unhittable pitch, eh?

If he were playing in New York, there'd be a 5'8 statue of him in Times Square"

(Andy Mcphail, on Kirby Puckett)

Assume it should be 5*
