Eh, if having that size of monitor means I have to give up having a 15" laptop, then I'm not interested. Good for them, by all means, but I wouldn't want to give up the portability. My laptop is like my own personal blankie.

The widgets screen should be the default that the PbP goes to, since the broadcast screen is now obsolete.

MR really like that monitor. My new dell is only 20" but still a huge improvement over the old 17". Anyway I think I've finally settled on my widgets..
I really like the flow of pitcher>batter >pbp>out of town scoreboard. I prefer the out of town board here as I want to be able to watch without having to look for it. My games scoreboard at the top is fine. Hey, I'm well aware of my score without having to search. The offensive lineup right above the batter and next to the field is easy to see also. The other three boxes are the ones I don't mind having to search for as they are more situational. Quick box score to keep in mind double switches and who to warm up in the pen. And of course team info to keep an eye on what each team has available as the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings approach. I'd have paid to upgrade to vX for just widgets and the new pitching model, they both add a ton to the game for me. |

I'm with you Sweed, this so far has been my favorite feature because I love having so much data right there without having to do anything. The only other screen I ever visit is the substitution screen.
I've had growing pains since 6.5, but X has been more than I have ever wanted in a sim baseball game. Finally, everything has really come together and I haven't found myself once saying, "I wish this was in the game". ![]() Markus and his beta testers have done one hell of a job! |
