It's a bit annoying if you play with 1-10 ratings scales, though. A stamina rating rating of 1 means he shouldn't be used as a starter, 2 maybe and 3-10 already qualifies him for a starting role. It's all a bit squished together...

I like playing with 1-10, bit more of a challenge in deciding who should fit what role.

You know, it's been a long time since I've checked to be certain, but does a 2 rating mean the equivalent of 15-24 on the 1-100 scale, 11-20, or 21-30? I mean, does it round to the nearest value? If so (the former), you'll know that a 2 can't start but that a 3 can.

I play on a 1-10 scale and have seen a pitcher with a stamina of 2 have a suggested role of starter.

21-30, then? Yech. Oh well, at least you have the suggested role field. If you're not sure whether or not a guy is limited because of his endurance or his pitch selection and overall ability, then check his suggested role at your lowest level of minors. If he has the endurance to start in rookie ball, he'll be a suggested starter.

I looked for the forum with the stamina issue in the technical support section but couldn't find it. Anybody have the link to it?

BZ 3078 and BZ 3134--- if you read the thread comments, these both address aspects of the issue you raised.

I just plugged in a MR that had a 7 STA/END that had a "emergency starter" rating and two dominant pitches into my rotation. He's given me four starts, each start he has given me more pitches before tiring. He went from 75 the first start, and his last start, he gave me 102 in a CGSO. He wasn't even "tired" yet.

This is with Stamina on "High" and a 4-man rotation.

I always play 1-10 because that's how i 'grew up' in OOTP, as i started in players leagues that used 1-10 ratings

For a perfect real life example of this look at Brian Tallet's starts this year for the Blue Jays.
