What is better to listen to, your scout or the OSA scout?
They have so far had drastically different ratings and I'm not sure which is the best one to listen to. Should I average them out?

Whatever you do, no matter what, scouting is an inexact science.
![]() Honestly? That's the only answer I have. Although I have seen elsewhere that your scout tends to overvalue certain prospects sometimes in the draft. |

You mean beyond the manual's, "The bottom line is that, whenever possible, you should use your own scouting department's information."? Nope, not from me.
Read some of the existing threads on scouting and you'll find some people who think listening to your own scout is a bad idea. I don't know, but with not wanting to test it myself I'd rather listen to the manual writers who do often extensively test things and sometimes even get it from the horse's (Markus's) mouth.

I agree satchel, except I would say OSA is worthless. I would ALWAYS trust your scout over OSA. Don't have a scout? Go out an hire the worst one in your world, he's twice as reliable as OSA. Heck, hire some random bum on the street, he's more reliable.
