If you released all the players to free agents, then all of the players are free agents and then you can just delete them all.

Game>Game Setup>League Setup>Functions>
Roster Functions>Release All Players/Clear Rosters Go to Free Agents, delete all Free Agents (but that option won't appear unless you are in commissioner mode) Manager>Options>Check the commissioner box If you have multiple leagues, make sure other league's free agents aren't available to the league you are deleting -- or you will delete those as well.

Thanks pbar, been thru all that. End result... got all players released to free agency, 1400+. Deleted all those free agents. Free agent screen is blank. Pull up "Show All Players" screen, there are 750 players showing there (30 teams x 25 players). 415 of them are pitchers, and of those 415, 391 are showing as 2B. When I look at their player screens, they all show position=pitcher, but when I open up the editor, the position field shows 2B. Ain't that a hoot!!! I'm in the process of changing all the pitcher positions back the SP, MR or CL. And on top of that, in the inaugural draft screen, it says there are 1700+ players available. Must be all those "ghost" players used to fill up the minor leagues.
All I'm trying to do is import my 6.51a online league into OOTPx, via OOTP9. |
