stats question
I made a fictional league with 32 teams. after 1 season 3 players hit 50+ HR and 14 hit 40+. In real life on 2 players hit 40+ HR last year(Howard and Dunn)
this tread of inflated numbers seemed to be the trend across the board. any chance of this evening out on its own or do I need to mess with the settings? |

It could slow down by itself, but I'd probably slowly drop the percentages in some test sims.

It could just be an anomaly, there's a lot of factors.
If you got a guy with a lot of power that got matched up in a HR park he's gold, if he got stuck with a pitchers park he may have hit 40. From hearing every baseball person blathering about how balls are flying out of new Yankee stadium I might expect we'd have every Yankee starter this year hit over 50. Although, for some reason, I think they're exaggerating a little bit.
