OOTP 9 League to OOTP X - Starting Pitchers (?)

Anyone else notice on an import of a ver9 league to ver10 - I have a large amount of pitchers in ver 9 that were MR placed in the starting rotation of many teams and many of the starters placed in the bullpen.

Some teams have MR with stamina of 19 in the starting rotation ???

Warning--people get very offended by mentioning that. That is a feature, not a bug. The solution is to have to spend a lot of time manually editing players.

To see how little regard there is for this problem, see pages 5 and 6 of
Reactions to the release + the next steps...

And as the creator of the game stated in a different thread, "It makes no difference if he threw 1 inning per appearance in the past." He does not consider it a bug to have entrenched relievers, who have track records showing they only pitch 1-2 innings per outing to be in the rotation.

I had this problem with almost every single team in my league.

19 out of what? 19/100 is not good because pitchers with less than 25/100 stamina are strictly bullpen and should not be in the rotation.

Actually, this is a logged issue which implies it will be fixed. I agree this is a huge problem for converted leagues and encourage anyone who agrees to post to this thread. Whether a 'feature' or a 'bug' I suspect most people converting OOTP 9 leagues will want this changed. Post here or in the related thread under 'technical/logged issues' and let Markus know this is a high priority fix for us.

Sorry, I should have said 19/100

Personally I don't think I would even consider anyone under 50/100 for a starting spot.

I guess the reliever with 50/100 or above do not bother me as much as the starters with 50/100 or below.

In my league (just looking at the parent league of 30 teams)

Of the 150 starters in the rotation, 52 of them have stamina below 50/100. That is an average of 2 of every 5 in a teams rotation.

Of these 52, 17 of them are below 30/100 and 3 of these are below 20/100

There are a total of 62 relievers on these 30 teams with stamina of above 50/100. Of these 30 of them are above 70/100 and 12 of them are above 80/100
