Great Googly Moogly, it's a massacre!

I've never seen a game box score like this one before.

Poor Dave Gumpert and Bob MacDonald got tagged for 11 runs apiece!

Why isnt there a mercy rule in OOTPX???

19 is the most runs I have ever seen in an inning.

Nice, I like how they put up 24 runs in the final 2 innings! And that 17 run 9th is classic!

heh.

FWIW according to Baseball-almanac.com the most runs scored in any one inning by one team is 18 (Chicago 18 vs Detroit 0 in 7th inning). The most runs scored in a single game by one team is 36 (Chicago 36 vs Louisville 7). The most runs scored by both teams in a single game is 49 (Chicago 26 vs Phil 23). And lastly, NO AL team as ever scored runs in all 9 innings of a 9 inning game (6 teams have scored scored in all 8 innings) however, 7 NL teams have scored in all 9 innings of a 9 inning game, the last to do it was Col in 1999. Who says the DH produces more offense? :P

Baseball stats are fun!

Nice stats. That last one about scoring in all 9 innings is very odd. I would have never believed that the AL had not done it.

Care to share your lineup?

My assumption is you've stacked your roster with All-Stars, what with Alomar, Larkin and Bagwell homering.

I find it mildly humorous that Roberto Alomar is on the Sox.

Interesting run. I peeked in, assuming this was going to be another thread about injuries.

The Alomars are legacies. All Alomars are required to serve several stints with the Palehose.

I don't care if you have a lineup full of the greatest hitters ever . . . 17 runs in an inning is ridiculous!

I wouldn't say "stacked". Kevin Reimer is my DH.
