I have tried that twice and there are no folders there. I though I had read that you have to change the bin file

So do you change the bin file to bin1 and the install and a new bin file will be created and the folders should also appear

You can change skins within the game, go to your modded skin directory and rename the skin.bin, then in-game go back to preference and select the skin you were using and let the game rebuild through that process. It's not easier, but you don't have to leave the game that way.

There won't be a new bin file. Just the new folders, including Images. In order to see "your changes" you'll need to rebuild the skin.bin file which means renaming it so the game can create a new one.

so let me get this right
1. go to the skin folder and rename the bin file 2. Go to the game and download the add on skin 3 Install skin 4. There now should be folders in the skin file 5. There is a new bin file 6. Go back into the game and reload the skin 7. that will create a new bin vile and then the old one is no longer valid

You then rename the bin file bac to .bin from bin1

Ok. Like I said, PM me at that point if you want and we'll get to the bottom of it. It all sounds harder than it is, unless you really aren't getting that download. That wouldn't be good.
